Miami, FL - March 3, 2008 - Pioneering local agency Diaz & Cooper wins top honors at this year’s American Advertising Federation ADDY Award presentation, taking home Gold and Silver in three different categories.

The firm, which represents clients across the nation, scored Gold for their “Green Prints” magazine ad for SmithGroup in the Arts and Sciences category. This piece highlights the Client’s sustainable design through a blueprint illustration of a leaf.
They also received a Silver in this category for their ad titled “Faces” for the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. Using a lineup of comical portraits, this trade ad depicts the diversity of the Center’s audience.
In the category of Special Event Material/ Invitation, the “Open House Invitation” for SmithGroup garnered the group Silver, for its inventive design. Printed on recycled paper with soy inks, the invite was shaped to evoke the architectural firm’s logo. It also provided a map for public transportation to the event, and folded into a hand fan; features which emphasized SmithGroup’s commitment to green design.

To round out their stellar showing, Diaz & Cooper took home another Silver Award in the Collateral Materials category for their elegant brochure for the luxury condo MarinaBlue by Hyperion Development.
