Miami, FL - March 13, 2012 - Todd Cooper, Co-Founder and VP/Creative Director of Diaz & Cooper, was looking for a way to boost productivity and increase job satisfaction for his employees. The solution he found was radical, but in his mind, necessary – a Results-Only Work Environment (ROWE).
Results-Only Work Environment is the brainchild of Cali Ressler and Jody Thompson. ROWE is a management strategy where employees are evaluated on performance, not presence. In a ROWE, people focus on results and only results. Ressler and Thompson formed a consulting firm, CultureRx, to help employers like Diaz & Cooper transition to ROWE.
What does a ROWE organization look like?
Forget flex time. In a ROWE, employees get to do whatever they want, whenever they want, as long as the work gets done. It may sound crazy, but ROWE has a proven track record of success.
In March of 2012, Diaz & Cooper Advertising received expert training to make the transition, becoming the first ad agency in the U.S. to get ROWE-certified.
The agency decided to implement ROWE to evolve the way work gets done at their organization. Cooper explains that, “[he] wanted people to be able to control their own lives, and give them freedom to accomplish goals. By setting them free from boundaries, they can focus on the best ways to solve problems. We firmly believe that Clients don’t want to buy “hours”; they want results, ROWE allows us to maximize productivity and be more engaged in providing value.”

Diaz & Cooper partnered with CultureRx to shift to a ROWE through an Implementation Workshop. Led by an experienced CultureRx facilitator, participants get the tools they need to incorporate ROWE into their workplace. They leave inspired, energized, and ready to satisfy their clients in new and creative ways. Following the training, CultureRx continues to provide ROWE support and coaching when needed.
