Diaz & Cooper Advertising Launches New Website for Azamara Club Cruises® (Press Release)

Miami, Florida – June 2, 2011 – In 2010, Royal Caribbean’s boutique cruise line, Azamara Club Cruises®, chose Diaz & Cooper Advertising as their interactive agency. This summer, Diaz & Cooper proudly announces the launch of the completely redesigned AzamaraClubCruises.com!

The new design and functionality of the website captures the essence of the “Azamara Difference” which is destination focused, with longer stays and more overnights. The focal point of the innovative site is the fully interactive “Azamara Globe”, which provides visitors with the ability to immerse themselves in Azamara’s ports around the world at the click of a button.

Azamara’s Director of Marketing, Signe Bjorndal, describes the site as: “a big step we are taking in bringing the Azamara experience to our consumers. With a wonderfully user-friendly interface, a rich destination immersive experience, and features like one-click site navigation and itinerary searches right at your finger tips, it really provides our guests with a simple tool to learn about Azamara and to plan a voyage.

DCA’s substantial experience in the travel and tourism sector coupled with a proficient technical team culminated in such innovative features as:

  • An overlay navigation system displaying all site destinations at a glance.
  • Search destinations from any page on the site, creating an easy flow of content.
  • Virtual tours, videos, and interactive deck plans that allow users to enjoy the onboard experience from home.
  • Community area that skillfully integrates the various Azamara social media sites as well as loyalty and current members sites.
  • New "Extended Voyages" section highlights user’s ability to create custom longer cruises.
  • iPad and mobile tablet compatible content provides guests with Azamara on-the-go.

DCA Project Manager, Alfred Smith said “We're excited how the website focuses the user's web experience with an elegant presentation of details along with vivid images. The richness in the details goes beyond the front-end as the code uses contemporary usability approaches to provide the user an epic narrative of the perfect voyage while loading in seconds from any device.

The new AzamaraClubCruises.com launched on May 20, 2011 and sets a cutting-edge new standard for cruise line websites.
